Expert Attendance Canteens TUX900

SOLUTION IMPLEMENTED

Initially, the solution implemented consisted of the EXPERT system with Attendance and Access modules and the installation of turnstiles to control both movements (attendance and access) at the plant’s entrance. According to the manager, who had already worked with ACTUASYS on a previous professional project at Bosch, the decisive factors in selecting our software centred on “the possibility of integrating attendance with access and the potential for decentralising processes through the Employee and Manager Web Portals”. Over the years, the solution initially implemented has undergone several updates and modernisations and an expansion to a second site. RESULTS

Fátima Frias evaluates the results obtained “positively”, considering that there has been a “reduction in the time spent on HR administrative tasks, allowing the team’s time to be better spent on development tasks”. It also mentions an increase in the autonomy and individual responsibility of employees, due to the use of various functionalities that promote this autonomy, such as the possibility of inserting absence justifications on the equipment itself and the consultation of balances (holidays, unjustified time, etc.) by the employee.

MOTIVATION

A process to acquire a new attendance and access management system began in 2012, led by Dr Fátima Frias, Director of the HR Department. The need arose from a multitude of objectives that made the acquisition of a complete and integrated HR support system crucial. The various objectives included integration with the SAP ERP in terms of salary processing, decentralisation of HR processes, giving autonomy to employees and managers, and integration of the attendance management system with the access management system. Regarding the decentralisation of processes, Fátima Frias says that “a good access and attendance control tool is important to make processes more transparent and easier for both team leaders and the HR team”.
